Paalam began in the restaurant industry, connecting the tangle of ordering, delivery, payment and reporting systems that independent restaurants rely on every day. Solving those problems taught us something that applies far beyond hospitality: most businesses don't need more technology — they need their systems and their people working together.

We took that hands-on, problem-first approach and applied it across industries — property, finance, manufacturing, accounting and more. Along the way we grew from a technical provider into something more useful: a partner who understands the business first, and the technology second.

Shan's career spans programme management roles within banking and enterprise organisations — where trust, delivery and stakeholder relationships were critical to success. She has a genuine passion for helping others succeed, and believes business is ultimately about people, relationships and trust. Through Paalam she is committed to helping businesses grow and operate more effectively — and to creating opportunities for women returning to work. Clients often comment on Shan's ability to make complex challenges feel manageable, and her natural talent for building relationships that last long beyond the initial engagement.
